We’re more than just a boxing gym – we’re a supportive amateur boxing community where boys and girls, men and women (ages 9-30) can build confidence, stay active, and develop valuable life skills.
With our expert coaching and a vibrant, inclusive environment, we empower young people to channel their energy positively, maintain peak fitness, and fully embrace a healthy lifestyle.
Banbury Boxing Club is the ideal starting point for those eager to learn the sport, enhance their fitness, or immerse themselves in a dynamic community, discover the power of boxing inside and outside the ring…
Founded in 2012 by passionate boxing enthusiasts; (Ben & Tom Malcher, Mark Cooper, and Dave Green). Unlike some gyms in the area Banbury Boxing Club is proudly affiliated with ENGLAND BOXING the sports national governing body. We inspire competitive and recreational boxers by providing a transformative space to grow, learn, and excel.
As a non-profit, community-driven club, we are run by dedicated volunteers and supported by donations, grants and member subscriptions.
We understand that boxing can be a powerful tool for personal growth and empowerment, and we strive to make it accessible to everyone, we’re committed to providing affordable training in a safe and nurturing environment.
We offer competitive boxers the opportunity to train and compete in amateur boxing, with the potential to one day represent the Home Counties, England, or even Team GB!
BUILDING CHAMPIONS, INSPIRING FUTURES;
Since our founding, we’ve developed Home Counties & National Champions, and in 2013 we marked a historic milestone by registering the first 2 female boxers from Banbury to compete in an ABA/England Boxing-Sanctioned contest.
In 2014 we achieved Sport England ClubMark Standard.
Whether you dream of stepping into the ring or getting fitter and more confident, Banbury Boxing Club is here to help you succeed one punch at a time!

Boxing is a tough sport and there are no shortcuts to success, ask yourself if you can commit to training at least twice a week on a Tuesday & Thursday? If not, our boxing squad is NOT for you. You would be classed as a ‘recreational boxer’ and welcome to train on Mondays only.
